CYBERSECURITY SERVICES
Cybersecurity services built for real-world SMB threats
Layered protection, modern tools, and a security-first mindset baked into everything we do.
THE THREAT LANDSCAP
Cyber threats no longer skip small businesses
Ransomware, phishing, BEC, credential theft, and supply chain attacks hit SMBs every day — often because they look like easier targets. A layered, well-managed program can dramatically reduce your risk without breaking your budget.
OUR APPROACH
Security is a layered program — not a single product
Cybersecurity is not a checkbox. It is a layered, ongoing program that protects your people, your devices, your data, your email, your network, and your business reputation. We build security into everything we do — and for clients with higher risk or compliance requirements, we add even deeper protection on top.
THE FULL STACK
A complete Run Smarter IT cybersecurity program
Endpoint protection
SentinelOne and Guardz — behavioral detection, automated response, continuous monitoring. Far beyond traditional antivirus.
Advanced email security
Proofpoint and Guardz stop phishing, BEC, malicious attachments, and suspicious links before they reach an inbox.
Multifactor authentication
MFA across Microsoft 365, VPN, and every critical system. Dramatically cuts account compromise risk.
Password management
Keeper Security — secure storage, sharing, and strong password policies. No more sticky notes or reused passwords.
Security awareness training
Ongoing training and simulated phishing campaigns. Your team becomes your strongest line of defense.
Backup and disaster recovery
The strongest insurance against ransomware. Datto for commercial, Veeam + Wasabi for compliance work.
Firewall and network security
Business-class firewalls from Fortinet, SonicWall, and Ubiquiti. Network segmentation where it makes sense.
Compliance support
HIPAA documentation, policy work, and ActiFile risk assessments that put a dollar value on your data risk.
FREE SECURITY ASSESSMENT
Not sure where your security program stands?
We offer a free network and security assessment using RapidFire Tools Network Detective. Runs quietly, identifies gaps, gives you a clear report. No obligation.
THE ASSESSMENT COVERS
- Network vulnerabilities and open ports
- Endpoint security gaps
- Email security posture
- Password and MFA status
- Backup coverage and gaps
- Compliance exposure (HIPAA, etc.)
WHO THIS IS FOR
Built for SMBs that take security seriously
Our cybersecurity services are built for small and mid-sized businesses in Brevard County and Central Florida that want a real, layered program in place. We work especially well with businesses that have regulated data, intellectual property, or significant ransomware exposure.
THE THREAT REALITY
Cyber threats no longer skip small businesses
Ransomware groups specifically target small and mid-sized businesses because they are more likely to have weak defenses, less likely to have incident response plans, and more likely to pay quickly to get back online. Business email compromise is one of the fastest-growing threats we see — an attacker impersonates an executive or vendor and convinces someone on your team to wire money or hand over credentials. It does not require sophisticated malware. Just a convincing email and a moment of inattention.
The good news is that most successful attacks exploit fixable problems — known vulnerabilities, weak passwords, missing MFA, and untrained employees. Our job is to fix them before an attacker finds them first.
THE BREVARD COUNTY THREAT LANDSCAPE
Cybersecurity built around the threats Brevard County businesses actually face
The Space Coast’s manufacturing and aerospace ecosystem makes it a higher-value target than most people realize. Defense contractors and aerospace suppliers face nation-state level threats on top of the standard SMB environment. If your manufacturing business touches any government contract, cybersecurity compliance is already being required.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions about cybersecurity for small businesses
Do small businesses really need enterprise-grade cybersecurity tools?
Yes — and the price difference has collapsed dramatically. Platforms like SentinelOne, Proofpoint, and Keeper were once only accessible to large enterprises. Today they are priced for SMBs. The threat landscape has not spared small businesses, and neither should your security program. Our job is to give you the same caliber of protection a much larger company would have, at a cost that makes sense for your size.
What is the difference between antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR)?
Traditional antivirus matches files against known threats — it can only stop what it recognizes. EDR uses behavioral analysis and AI to detect threats it has never seen before. Modern ransomware and fileless malware routinely bypass antivirus. EDR platforms like SentinelOne catch them. This is why we deploy EDR for every managed services client and do not rely on traditional antivirus alone.
How does a phishing simulation work and why do you run them?
A phishing simulation sends realistic but harmless fake phishing emails to your team to test whether anyone clicks or hands over credentials. When someone does, they get immediate education explaining what to look for. Telling people about phishing is useful. Showing them they fell for one is memorable. Simulations combined with training dramatically reduce the likelihood that a real attack succeeds.
What does a free network assessment actually show?
Our free assessment uses RapidFire Tools Network Detective to run a non-intrusive scan of your environment — identifying open vulnerabilities, outdated software, missing patches, weak configurations, and exposed ports. You get a detailed report organized by severity. Most business owners who have never had an assessment are surprised by what it finds. You keep the report regardless of whether you become a client.
How long does it take to implement a complete cybersecurity program?
For new managed services clients, full security deployment happens in the first 60 days — endpoint protection, email security, MFA, password management, network hardening, and initial training. For standalone cybersecurity engagements, most initial deployments complete within 30 to 45 days. Ongoing monitoring, training, and improvement continue from there.
